One of the first things I do in the morning? Check my email. I scroll past emails that require a response and open the daily or weekly emails I subscribe to receive. A few weeks ago I signed up to receive emails from Career Contessa, an awesome resource that features brilliant women in a variety of fields. And, many of these women are entrepreneurs. As a budding entrepreneur, I am always seeking inspiration and motivation to continue building my business and reading the Career Contessa stories over the past few weeks has been so uplifting.
The women they feature are from all sorts of companies and have a variety of backgrounds, which is really cool. I read the three stories of the women that came directly to my email, but I am also working on reading about all of the "Contessas" on their site.
Another great resource on their site is the job postings page!
I really really loved this feature on Sara Sugarman, President of Lulu & Georgia. I follow Lulu & Georgia on social media and I truly respect their brand, so reading about their lady in charge made me love the company even more. I definitely advise young women to read about other women who have power positions in their desired field. And Career Contessa makes that easy and fun!
I've never heard of this before but this is excellent, a great way to stay inspired by other ladies!
