I'm sharing a secret today. My favorite winter drink. It's a bit odd, until you try it. Although it's gotten much warmer since the global freeze over that happened last weekend (thank God), it's still chilly. So this drink is still appropriate. I call this my Vanilla Hot Chocolate Latte.
I use my Keurig to brew some Medium Roast Coffee, then add in one pack of hot chocolate. I mix them up and add in 2 or 3 ounces of Vanilla creamer. Then I top it with whipped topping. This time, I added some Paprika powder to top it.
I love sprinkling on some cinnamon or paprika. I think chocolate powder would also be delicious. And I think my creative roommate would even add some fresh mint on top.
I limit myself to one a week, but I could seriously drink these every morning!
What's your favorite winter drink? I'm always down to try a new festive drink - please share!
Mmm that sounds yummy!

Yum! You know how you always read about chefs adding cayenne pepper to desserts/chocolate dishes? Wonder how that would be... but would hate to ruin a good thing!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds yummy! I'm going to put whip cream on my grocery list so I can try it out this weekend! Thanks for sharing! ♥

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I'm a "real hip(py) grandma of Atlanta"! (Actually, 17 miles outside Atlanta, but close enough.) Nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteThat drink looks yummy, but I don't know about the paprika on top. My usual go-to drink is hot tea. I'm a bit of a junkie when it comes to tea.
Mmm, that looks so good
