Although I'm not an engineer, going to an engineering school like Georgia Tech allowed me to meet SO many women in engineering. They are brilliant and they are a minority (11% of engineers are women) in a world full of male engineers. That's why I'm really proud and excited about GoldieBlox, a startup toy company that makes toys for "future women engineers." Love it.

I love this! Such a dope concept and I hope that it continues to go viral. This is what children need, things like this to break out of the princess mold into a movement of intellectualism and empowerment. Gotta love it. Thanks for sharing!

I saw the commercial the otherday and love it! Random thought, but I only recently saw how early gender roles are pushed on us as children. Legos and toy tools for boys while there are easy bake ovens and baby dolls for girls.
