My Instagram photo from this weekend, taking a selfie in my roomie's sunglasses |
I loved this weekend. It was my college's (Georgia Tech) homecoming weekend, and my first homecoming game as an alum. It felt strangely beautiful to be back on campus. I didn't quite feel like a visitor, but it also doesn't really feel like my home anymore since I've graduated.
I pass campus just about every day, so it wasn't a huge deal to physically be on campus. What really made going back feel strange was being a graduate and seeing friends I hadn't seen since graduating in May. I attended a few tailgates and got to see many familiar faces, although I still didn't get to see everyone I wanted! Everyone was in such a great mood, which made the day even better. Oh, and Georgia Tech beat Pitt, #fabulous #goJackets. See some photos from the day below.
As a college student, I typically dressed up for games. But I decided to go with a toned down look on Saturday. White dress, cowgirl boots, statement necklace.
I'm slightly obsessed with my newest statement necklace.
It completed my homecoming look :)
Have you ever been to a college homecoming game?
LOVE that dress! Looks like you had a great time :)

ReplyDeletei've been only when attending college, never as an alum. i don't live there anymore, so no need to drive there. congrats on winning!
ReplyDeleteI just got a job at my undergrad college and I think it's going to be so weird being back on campus after 2 years. Sounds like you had a fun weekend!

I love that you opted for a cute dress & boots rather than the usual tied-up shirts & jerseys! Very cute!

If my team was better, I would feel more incline to attend a homecoming game, but I'm going to attend next year's since it will hopefully be my last. It looks like your weekend was great! And you're a knockout in that dress, ma'am. I love it!
