Just a quick update. Work life is still an awesome life.

I love my job.
I've met so many great people, learned even more about my state, politics, policy, and communications. I'm writing an article about my experience and more for Sweet Lemon Magazine...so stay tuned!
I work in the most amazing, historic building in Atlanta - the State Capitol - and I'm constantly in awe. I love roaming the building during my lunch break and walking around outside (City Hall is right across the street). I still have a few more months left of my fellowship, but I already know that this is the field I want to work in, it's a dream come true.

I feel like I really am living my dreams.
I'm headed to NYC today for the long weekend. Can't wait to share details of my trip when I get back on Tuesday.

I Love it when I hear that people love their job. It's something we have to do and I like seeing that there are people out there that are really fulfilled by their work. That's how it should be. My dream job is not what I'm doing now, that's for sure!! Love that last pic!

They say love what you do and you'll never "work" a day in your life. I applaud those able to work their dream jobs; to know that it brings them pleasure and satisfaction while helping others by doing what they do. You are truly fortunate.

It's so funny that a lot of people fail to realize how much work life comes into play with how you feel about your overall life, I guess because you spend so many hours there, but I really do think being happy about what you do is so important.
