In case you haven't heard, Atlanta (downtown) is getting a ferris wheel!
The attraction is called SkyView Atlanta.

I went to London years ago, and I loved their gigantic ferris wheel attraction. I think it will look so cool in our city and will be a new place to check out my favorite skyline.
The ferris wheel is being built in the southend of Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta.
Construction is almost complete and the ferris wheel is set to open on Tuesday, July 16 at 12pm!
The gondolas will be fully enclosed, safe for children, wheelchair accessible, and will fit 2-6 people.
One flight/ride last about 15 minutes, going around four times.
And, they're currently hiring!
Would you be interested in riding?!I can't wait!
I'd be too scared, I hate going on slow rides in heights. Looks beautiful though at night.

Oh my gosh! I thought that ferris wheel was a temporary thing, I didn't know there were plans to have it there permanently! That's exciting! And it opens on my birthday? Oh wow, I gotta drag my boo to come with me while we're in the area next Saturday. Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteThank you this post and providing the website. I've been wondering how much the tickets were going to be it still isn't too bad for 15 mins, but I'm happy to see Atlanta grow and improve their tourist attractions.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! There's one in Pensacola but I didn't get a chance to get on it. Hopefully when I head to Atlanta, I'll get a chance to get on this one.
ReplyDeleteThat will be really cool and it will be a great tourist attraction.
