Eating in ATL {southern art}

Beautiful ceiling decorations - I want that chandelier!
When you're a college student with an iPhone, eating out with friends is usually determined by what restaurants have deals on Scoutmob. Last Friday night was no different. I had a fantastic dining experience (for a really great price) at Southern Art Restaurant and Bourbon Bar, located in Buckhead.

Bread, butter, and  spiced veggies that come before entrees!
The restaurant is actually located inside the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta Hotel and parking in the hotel's parking deck is complimentary when you get it validated at the restaurant.

Sweet Potato Souffle
OK, now to the food. So good good. I wasn't super hungry so I just ordered a few sides. The portions are large enough for two people to share. I had the macaroni and cheese, green beans, and sweet potato soufflé (request without nuts if you're allergic like I am), and they were all so savory. I would label their food style as a perfect mix of eclectic, urban, and southern. If you're a ham lover, this is the place for you - they have an entire ham bar! Seriously.

Macaroni & Cheese and Green Beans, served in mini-skillets!
The desserts also looked out of this world and I really wanted to try one, but I was too full! I earned a 25% off Scoutmob deal after eating there, so I will be going back!
Super cute salt & pepper shakers, haha

Enjoy! <3
